We’ll have over 45 vendors exhibiting their products and over 25 seminars on security issues and audio visual solutions for classrooms and training centers to Network Operations Centers to managed services for video surveillance and access control systems. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is offering a CEU course on how to spot and to stop infant abductors for the healthcare community.
Our Keynote James Marcella from Axis Communications will speak about the power of video, where and how it will be used in the future and the impact that this will have on our lives.

At The Cliff House in Ogunquit, Maine
Presented by Paul Lockwood, CPP, with 35 years in the security industry and over 18 years directing security and safety programs for healthcare facilities
The Expo begins at 8:30am and ends at 4:30pm (registration begins at 8:00am)
Safeguard Their Tomorrows teaches managers and staff members of newborn nurseries, labor and delivery units, postpartum and pediatric units; and nurses, pediatricians, hospital administrators, security personnel, and risk managers.
Learn how to:
- Identify the behavioral profile of an infant abductor and detect a potential abductor
- Discuss topics to include when educating parents about infant abduction
- Identifies infant abduction trends in healthcare facilities
- Describe methods for preventing, recognizing, and documenting an infant abduction or attempted abduction
- Attendees will be eligible to receive up to 0.7 contact hour of continuing nursing education.
This activity includes an enrollment form, posttest, and evaluation, which must be completed to receive continuing education credit. A minimum test score of 70% is required to receive credit. Online testing is available. Further instructions are detailed on the enrollment form. Continuing education certificates and statements of credit will be emailed or mailed within 6 weeks. There is no fee for participating in the program or for the generation of the certificate.
